Posted by Lori DeVore on November 4th, 2009

By John Spence

RISMEDIA, November 4, 2009—(MCT)—Congress is a step closer to extending the $8,000 first-time homebuyer tax credit and offering a new credit to other types of buyers, but some analysts are downplaying the controversial stimulus’ effect on the housing market.

In a recent interview, Fox-Pitt Kelton analyst Robert Stevenson said the Senate’s proposal for extending the $8,000 tax credit for new homebuyers will have a “limited impact” on home sales.

Historically, brokers have …

Would you like to do business with you? That is an interesting question. People will drive further and spend more to be treated well - even in challenging economic times. Those who provide a quality product, and outstanding customer service, will experience greater loyalty and business stability.
What are you selling, and who is your customer? Whether or not you work for a company, you are selling yourself every day to those you meet. From the moment you get up in the morning, until you crawl back into bed at night, you are continually announcing who …

Russell’s Global CIO sees upturn ahead

Posted by Lori DeVore on January 21st, 2009

Business Examiner Daily 1.21.09
